Website with automation

Website for an event

The event information, attendance confirmation with each guest's preferences and a private area to manage it all. In two languages, and every confirmation arrives by email.

What needed solving

The website combines presenting the event with one concrete task: collecting guests' confirmations and preferences. Both had to work without one getting in the way of the other.

What we built

The invitation website, the confirmation flow with email notifications, a shared photo gallery and a private dashboard. The public part informs and collects answers, and the private area is where they are managed.

  • Event information and schedule
  • Attendance confirmation
  • Menu and transport preferences
  • Email notifications
  • Song requests
  • Shared photo gallery
  • Private management dashboard
  • Two languages

Detail of the website countdown: the days and hours left until the event
Countdown. The home page shows how long is left until the event. The navigation and the confirm button stay with the guest all the way down the page.

Why we built it this way

Checking the schedule and replying happen on the same page, without going anywhere else. Guests don't lose track of what they were reading to fill in a form on another screen.

For another business: The same approach works for sign-ups to conferences, courses or gatherings. Each case needs to define the essential data, who can see it and what should happen after each answer.
