Custom website and app

Website and app for a radio show

The show's website and app: live broadcast, an archive of past shows and a player that keeps playing while you browse. With its own identity.

What needed solving

The show's identity, the live broadcast and the archived content had to come together on a website of its own. Audio is central to the whole experience of the site, not an add-on.

What we built

The show's website and app, with a live player and a historical archive. The player keeps playing while you move between pages.

  • Live broadcast
  • Archive of past shows
  • Historical gallery
  • A player that doesn't stop when you change page
  • Mobile app
  • The show's own identity

Live broadcast. The broadcast plays from the phone and the player at the bottom keeps going when you switch screens.

Why we built it this way

The player doesn't stop when you change page: you can explore the archive without stopping listening. That decision shapes how the whole website is built, not just the player.

For another business: Where the broadcast comes from, how the archive is organized and how the player behaves define a large part of the scope. In a new project we review those pieces together with the mobile experience and the way new shows get published.
